When I posted Why I hate Gackt and Juka, somehow, it had me rethinking about reading Gackt’s autobiography. As much as I dislike Gackt, I also wanted to know what he has to say. Yes, I AM open-minded.
So I did. I DID read his autobiography. It never occurred to me, even in my deepest, darkest imagination, that I would actually read such a manuscript. Good for me though. I’ve found more things to make fun of him.
Today, let me share to you the funny stuff. (How weird the English from the quoted parts might seem, I have nothing to do with that. I copied them verbatim.)

First off, congraulations for being open-minded. I must say that, after having read your previous post, I didn’t think you’d take the time to read his autobiography. However, I stand corrected and, for that, I am impressed.
I’m not quite sure you got the right impression of me from my previous comments. I am not a Gackt fan. I cannot stand that man. I’m not sure if you thought I was a fan or not, but I felt the need to clear that up.
Although I am pleased you read it, I have a feeling that all you did was skim through it and pick out bits and pieces which you posted here. Obviously, out of context, they’re going to sound strange.

I DID NOT just SKIM through Jihaku. I read it from start to the end, word for word. Seriously, the part about him leaving Malice Mizer and Kami’s Death was a tear-jerker. :_(

Hm…Interesting…and I AM a Gackt-sama fan, but i will NOT tell you to shut the f*** up and stop writing all this s*** because it’s not, and because I believe in “Criticizing and Opinion stating”. But I have a question for you…If you dislike him so much, why do you write about him and why do you read about him? From waht u have written i conclude that gackt lives in an imaginary place. I love him for his music but i do not like him otherwise. this gives me inspiration to read his autobio someday soon. I would love to talk to him face to face and pound some sense into that beautiful head of his. hehehehehe. He seems so princely and perfect… i was quite shocked to have read this blog…. it made me realize he is one seriously deranged individual with a thirst for attention… but what do i know. i’m just a sixteen yr old person. Gackt kind of reminds me of myself when i was younger. i always wanted to be so impressive that i would try so hard. Now i see how fake it all looked. ooh hell. So gackt is physically beautiful but mentally messed up. I LOVE his music and Moon child. I love Hyde and Wang Leehom too. They are all awesom.

Let me preface this post by putting it out there that I am not a raging Gackt fan. While I respect your right to express your opinion, you come off as rather petty and mean in this post.
You’ve taken something very personal – an autobiography – and picked out parts just to laugh at it. I don’t argue that Gackt sometimes doesn’t make sense, or can say odd things. He doesn’t always make sense. He does say odd things. But he does at least deserve a shred of respect.
He puts his music out for the world – those who enjoy it take great pleasure in listening and enjoying the world, and those who don’t shouldn’t feel the need to criticize.
Music – though perhaps just to me – is a form of release, a way to enjoy and express oneself.
Your ‘open-mindedness’ doesn’t exactly follow the general definition. Open-mindedness is not forcing yourself to do something you don’t want to, but going into that thing with the intention of understanding it. Clearly, you went in with the intention of satirizing Gackt’s autobiography.
Also, the translation is just that – a loose translation of a Japanese book. Not all the sentences came out as they should have.

Wow… As a Gackt fan this is a bit of a shock, but I know realistically not all like him. All that aside: To me, if there is trash talk to be done it would make more sense to know that in which you are trash talking. This A) keeps you from appearing uneducated and petty, B) makes your points more tangable, C) allows you to refrence points without posting things out of context hoping to get your point across, and D) Would perhaps better communitcate your points.
With this display it only seems like you are harvesting feeling you would rather not admit you have, much like a man who is homophobic turns about to be a homosexual in denial. Rather than present yourself as such (a Gackt fan in denial) put a little more effort and come up with concise facts. Maybe then your “trash talk” seems less of a cover for the fact that you may or may not actually like him. With that said maybe I have given you an idea on how to better present your information as much as it displeases me. I may not appreciate what has been said but I believe in what being able to critize and state an opinion.

Haha! You know, I’m a really big fan of Gackt Camui, although I’m not his fan as the person he truly is.^^ Although of course it’d still piss me off when things like you said was said to him. However…all that up there, I just found it so funny.^^ Very entertaining. I guess because everyone practically worships him, it’s refreshing to find someone trash him like that, once in a while. Really, thank you. I felt that he’s an ordinary idiotic human like anyone else.^-^ Gackt is just another person, you’ve made me remember than again. Honto ni, arigatou naa?
But you know… Don’t you actually just love him? The more you hate the more you love. Y’know I’ve seen many first hands, it all started with being pissed off and hating one another, and then BOOM! Love begins. I wonder why you hate him so much. I mean, wow, you hate him enough to actually sit still and make this long blog post and even finish reading his book. And then one by one putting what you’ve analyzed so far. That’s really amazing. I as a Gackt fan had never even made him a blog post this long.
But I think… You just love the person you hate. You really love him, but he’s a man too out of reach for you, therefore you turn that love into hate. That’s just lame. If you love him and you’re pissed off because everyone else loves him as well, then just prove to the world you’re the one who loves him the most.^^ Insecurity won’t do you any good. Have confidence! First off, I love Gackt. This post didn’t offend me in any way. Infact it inspired me to read Jihaku, thanks. However, after reading Jihaku, this post simply reminded me of a bunch of 12 year olds watching barney “just to make fun of it.” There is nothing wrong with that, I did the same thing…when I was 12. This whole thing was incredibly immature and lacking of any real content. There is no humor in your comments as there is no originality. I find no difficulty in turning someones words against them…especially when the words were initially in another language. Please show a little more creativity next time :/ A great man atleast deserves great criticism.

Well, The only reason I read this blog is because I was looking for Jihaku, and I linked this. I posted in the “I hate Gackt…” comment, and when I start reading this I though “well, at least this person wants to know something so she can NOW give an opinion that actually counts”; but what dissapointed I was reading it. As someaone aleready said, you din´d want to know things about Gackt so you can understnad him better, you only wanted to look forward thinking “what can I use against him”. What a shame of you as an human being, an autobiography represents a person most important feelings and experiences and it deserves respect, not because being Gackt, because being a PERSON!!! For the other hand, I agree with some comments about you which say that you are just unable in an very insane way to admit you actually admire Gackt; and how immature you are. Becasue it´s true, if you are not an elementary school girl, and therefore obviously have the brain of a child, then you have no excuse for this.
So, instead wasting your time trash talking about other people that can´t even respond, I agree with previous commentary: get a life for your own, then maybe you can be somebody someday…. take care of your own trash and become a good person. In other words: FOLLOW GACKT´S EXAMPLE AND BECOME SOMEONE IMPORTANT TO THE WORLD, INSTEAD WRITING THAT LOT OF SHIT!!!!

I won’t lie, a lot of your comments were awesome. xDD Funny I mean, in the way you put them.
But that doesn’t change the fact that I seem to see that though you are openminded you TRY (probably unconsiously) to get a negative attitide to him. That’s a bit upsetting.
I am a fan of Gackt and have been for a little under a year. Even so, I know I can rival for even some of the best Dears with my knowledge and liking of Gackt. My passion is about his songs and what he can do to move me. Now, I’m not saying like him, because we BOTH know that that is pointless an just pathetic. But I will say this, there is no reason to make the comments as they are.
Sure, your own opinions are great. But to …flaunt them like this for all to see… it makes you..- no, it makes me see you as an imature and revolting person.
I am offended at this (though I feel that I have no right to be as I am not Gackt, etc., but that doesn’t change the fact that I am) and think that you need to actually rethink all this. I am sure that if it were someone else and they were on about something else close to you- I don’t care how open minded you (think you) are- you would probably be hurt also.
See it from the fan point of view before you go all ***** on us.
It is fair to treat everyone with respect. Don’t try to push him down with your oppinions that you KNOW don’t have to be outed.
Simply put, hold respect for the people you don’t know or like. Just because you don’t like him doesn’t mean you have to put things up that will bring him down in someones view. Did we ASK for your comments? I highly doubt it. So leave it at the quotes from the book and get out.

I’m not here to bash on you, you got your own opinion and that’s ok. Like a wise man said “..would you say these things [online] to the person in their face?” Somewhere alone those lines. I think you could say those things to Gackt, but why?
Let’s put it like this, i dont like apples and you do. I tell you ” don’t eat apples, they’re yucky” will you listen?
Point here is, just because you hate something/someone doesn’t give you the right to bash on them. Why should i talk bad about apples, if the apples never did anything to me? I’m guessing you’re a smart person and get what i’m saying. I think Gackt’s a very talented person, and a very nice one too. If you reckon, that’s ok.
Another methaphor, if you see a little boy who can’t walk, would you race him? Thing is, just because Gackt MAYBE doesn’t know [For you] write proper english isn’t something you should point out. People aren’t stupid, they can read mistakes.
Long lecture short, if you really “hate” Gackt as much as you do, try saying that to him. Everybody has flaws, not only him. We just come to notice them because, he’s bigger than us [famouse wise] Just remember “what comes around, goes around” that’s something i had to learn the hard way.
