The guy obviously enjoys preforming and singing and loved his bandmates, but not enough to keep putting on lipstick / dresses / and ruffles. VK just wasn't Gackt, I'm glad at least one person in the VK world broke out of that genre and moved on. Gackt was one of MM's best vocalist (imo), he didn't sing like dying bird and frail around like a dork, and his range was attractive. Gackt never fit the Visual Kei image and when he went solo you can pretty much confirm that.
